TASK#10

TITLE: What should I do vs what I did.
DEADLINE: 21 March at 24.00
INSTRUCTIONS: 

WRITE about a real situation that happened to you  in the last few days and that involved having to react and take a decision. The text will be divided into three sections:

Section 1: Describe the situation as it happened.
Section 2: Comment on the options available to you.
Section 3: The decision you took. Explain why. 


 Section 1:

 A few days ago, I don´t agree myself exactly that day was. I was in my room when I come my sister and she asked me ¨ Have you seen my earphones?¨, 
to what I answered him  ¨No, but say to me how it is and if I see them I say it to you¨
She me described them. To the moment, I saw that my small brother 
tape-worm some as her me described.

 Section 2:

 When I saw the situation, the first thing that I thought was in saying to my sister who tape-worm his earphones, but later I thought that i didn´t have to do it because she would get angry with my brother.


 Section 3:

 The decision that I took was to speak first with my brother and to say to him that it mustn´t  take the things that aren¨t his,because she could get angry, then he returned the earphones to her.

TASK#12  TITLE : Becoming a vegetarian? DEADLINE: 11 May at 24.00 INSTRUCTIONS:  As you know, millions of people are vegetarian. They are convinced that a vegetarian diet is good for them and for the environment. Would you consider becoming a vegetarian? Think of what you would gain and what you would have to give up. Do you think your health would be better? Would it mean having to spend more money? Would your social life suffer?  Think of the ethical side of it: being a vegetarian means not contributing to the killing of animals for food? Would that be important for you?  And there's also an environmental side to it: millions of square kilometres are used for animals to graze (specially cows). This enormous extension would be more productive if crops were planted to feed people not animal. Think of the enormous amount of methane (a green house gas much more powerful than carbon dioxide) produced by hundreds of millions of cows, etc. WRITE...
